The duo join as executive creative directors and have numerous awards at events including Cannes Lions, ADCOLOR and D&AD

R/GA New York is pleased to welcome group executive creative directors Rick Williams and Marcel Yunes. Most prominently known for their work as creative directors on the Cannes Grand Prix and Emmy Award-winning P&G campaign, “The Talk,” Rick and Marcel will lead the creative vision for R/GA’s work with Verizon, Ally Bank, Beam Suntory, and more.

The duo have been creative partners for over a decade with work on acclaimed campaigns for Bud Light, HBO, AT&T, and the 9/11 Memorial Museum. After 10-years at BBDO, Rick and Marcel spent two years freelancing to grow and reinvent their practice. The pair was drawn to R/GA’s philosophy around stories and systems creativity.

“As much as experience as they have, I admire that they’re still driven by their curiosity and passion for creating work that pushes the edge and resonates meaningfully in culture,” said US chief creative officer, Tiffany Rolfe. “Rick and Marcel are creative storytellers who see the potential in technology to connect with people,” added Richard Ting, global chief design officer & US chief creative officer.

The pair has won numerous awards at Cannes Lions, ADCOLOR, D&AD, The One Show, Webby Awards, Clios, AAF Mosaic Awards, ADC, Andy’s, AICP, and LIA amongst others.
