Recess Post Expands Its Offering to the U.S Market and Adds a Senior Producer

With a busy year behind them, including a re-launch of their brand in November 2023, Recess Post EP Tanja Harney is excited to be expanding their offer to the US market and bolstering the team.

“The plan was always to establish our offering in Canada, especially Toronto, and then expand into the U.S. market,” said Tanja. Timelines were accelerated after a project with Terri & Sandy New York last summer. “That job showed us that we’re already poised and ready to be a gateway to Canadian post solutions for the American market.” 

With Canadian industry rates, the currency exchange, and Recess’ long-standing relationships with a wide range of top tier post talent, U.S. agencies and clients can partner with Recess Post to make a tight budget work without compromising on quality of execution. 

“Our offering is à la carte and has the ultimate flexibility,” explained Tanja. “We can keep elements of the project in Canada with Canadian artists to help manage costs, while also partnering with an editor or colour artist based in NY or LA if the creative team prefer to work in person on an aspect of the job that needs close supervision.”

Significant growth over the last six months has prompted the addition of senior producer Claire Young. Claire comes to Recess with over a decade of experience producing commercials from concept to final delivery, on both the production and agency side.
