It’s time once again, to swing open the Factory Vaults and share with you some of the superb music that has been rocking our world over the past few months.
It’s a selection of musical gems that includes tracks we’ve worked with, tracks that have inspired us, tracks that have made us dance, tracks that have made us cry, plus a clutch of unearthed beauties that just deserve to be heard.
A few highlights to look out for... (and make sure you check out the playlist at the bottom of the page!)
Johnny Hawksworth - You always need a good intro. They don’t make them like this anymore.
Khruangbin - Great music video we’ve worked on with our good pal Scott Dungate at W+K London.
Last Shadow Puppets - Another ace music vid of ours from the guys at Black Sheep Studios. Well, it was actually nine music vids of the same track. Every time you watched it online, you saw a different version. Nice.
Max Steiner - The Adventures of Mark Twain soundtracking David Beckham in an H&M film... damn right people!
Sammy Davis Jr - I think you’ll know where this one took us. Genius.
Johann Johansson - The scariest, most brooding piece of music I’ve heard in ages. Barricade yourself in. Seriously.
Massive Attack - Sublime track with heavenly vocals from Hope Sandoval of Mazzy Star. So good. Oh, and did I mention the strings...
The Durutti Column - Vini Reilly is someone that everybody should really get to know about. A truly unique guitarist and artist. Go forth and discover people...
Philip Glass - This piece is inspired by David Bowie’s Heroes and it’s ridiculously good. Serious orchestral fire power. Hold tight!
New Order - Best lyric ever... ‘You’ve caught me at a bad time. So why don’t you piss off.’
Keith Mansfield - You always need a good outro. Easy listening vibes preferable.
Enjoy!
