Radio LBB: An Ode to Black Love

Filipa has been part of the Universal Music / Leland Music joint programme, interning for 12 months in their sync and music supervision departments. Previously she has also been involved in the A&R department at Polydor Records and volunteering for Lovebox Festival. Now that her internship is concluding she is on the lookout for her next opportunity in the industry.

In honour of Black History Month, I present to you an ode to black love. I’ve carefully selected these tracks from some of my favourite black romance films. These songs make me feel hopeful and included in the telling stories of love. A love that is familiar, true, stands the test of times and encourages us to be open.
