Leading global brand agency Broken Heart Love Affair has named Rachelle Claveau as the organisation’s national EVP and managing director. In this new role, she will lead the team and oversee all aspects of the agency operations across the country. Rachelle originally joined Broken Heart Love Affair in 2023 to open its Montreal office, Agence BHLA, and for the past eight months has also been the Acting MD in the Toronto office.
A seasoned agency leader with a proven track record of winning business and driving exceptional results, Rachelle brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Before joining Broken Heart Love Affair, she served as president of Publicis Montreal for six years, where she led the agency through a transformative period of growth in the Quebec market, championing creativity and innovation. Her leadership at FCB Montreal, where she was president for two years, further strengthened her reputation as a strategic force, following 12 years in various senior roles at Cossette, Montreal.
“Rachelle is a senior business leader and a total pro who has consistently demonstrated an ability to drive results for clients and inspire teams which has been invaluable to us, so I’m thrilled that she is taking on this new, national leadership role,” said founding partner and chief business officer Beverley Hammond. “Rachelle’s fresh perspective and strong management abilities will be instrumental as we continue to evolve and grow Broken Heart Love Affair.”
"Broken Heart Love Affair embodies everything I believe about building iconic brands—driving commercial success through creativity and authentic connections. The incredible client partners here who understand that inspire me, and what truly excites me is the agency's culture, and the amazing talent we have, which energises me to push the boundaries of what's possible, every day,” added Rachelle.
