Pulse Communications Appoints Christopher Kinsey as Director

Pulse Communications, part of Ogilvy PR Australia, has appointed Christopher Kinsey as director. With more than 20 years of marketing communications experience, Kinsey was most recently head of PR and social for Banana Republic in Europe where he oversaw external communications through various channels and audiences. This included traditional trade and consumer media, social influencers, VIPs and VIP stylists.

Prior to Banana Republic, Kinsey was the Divisional Director, Brand Communications at Weber Shandwick Belgium, where as a regional board member he oversaw a team of 13 PR, social media, corporate communications and lobbying professionals. His previous extensive experience includes working on global brands such as General Motors, Jaguar Land Rover Group, Jo Malone, Max Factor, Vidal Sassoon, DeBeers, Shell, Dunlop and MasterCard.

Kinsey will be leading several of Pulse’s key client accounts including Ford, UBank, Australian Eggs Corporation Limited (AECL) and Activision.

The appointment complements the existing leadership team of Amanda Shannahan Moore, Jacqui Abbott, Rachel Byrne and Alison Larkin in supporting Richard Brett, Managing Director, as the agency continues to implement its new vision and strategic direction – 'Brave Ideas that Make Brands Famous'.

Pulse Managing Director, Richard Brett, said: “Christopher brings a wealth of experience from working on a plethora of world famous brands across a number of international markets. 2015 was another record year for Pulse and with Christopher joining the senior leadership team we believe that we are in the best position to continue the trend in 2016.”
