Production studio SIRAP has for the first time, worked with Public Transport Victoria (PTV), creating and capturing ‘Back on board’; a campaign to share personal stories of Victorians on how they engage with public transport across the state.
The stories of three Victorians - Bintoro, Ryan and Faezeh – kick off ‘Back on board’ this week.
Launching across online, social channels and radio, there will be seven Victorians sharing their stories over the coming months, highlighting how vital public transport is to their lives.
Amy McBride, Marketing Manager Product and Services, Public Transport Victoria, discusses the project; "We were delighted to work with SIRAP for our new campaign ‘Back on board,' showcasing stories of the many Victorians who use public transport to connect them with the things, people and places they love. SIRAP brought a unique lens and perspective to each of the individual stories and we are extremely proud of the recent work created. We were particularly impressed with their professionalism and responsiveness to an often changing brief.”
Sam Martin, Film Director at SIRAP, worked closely with production to select the individuals profiled, and directed the project over several months as Melbourne emerged from lockdown, “We had a fantastic opportunity to utilise our storytelling capabilities with this latest campaign from PTV. By uncovering everyday Victorians that have a genuine appreciation for public transport, we were able to seamlessly weave in the PTV brand into authentic snapshots of our dynamic and diverse cast.”
Paris Thomson, founder and creative director of SIRAP, discusses the recent project for Public Transport Victoria, “This project has been a personal favourite of mine. To showcase real life individuals and to actively support such an integral part of the Victorian social landscape was a highlight for our studio.”
