Psychedelic Wellness Brand When Nature Calls Unveils Truffles for Expats Stranded over the Holidays

The campaign was created with Zerotrillion Amsterdam and aims to change the perception of psychedelics

When Nature Calls (WNC), the high-end smartshop and wellness brand, has partnered with award-winning creative agency Zerotrillion to release a limited edition range of psilocybin truffles marketed at internationals in the city - the expats who can’t travel home for the holidays. 

In a cheeky flip on the term “Trip”, WNC is offering expats the chance to travel home in the spiritual sense over the festive season. The truffles in the range come in five different strengths, which was reflected in the design system and the accompanying copy - the further the person has to travel, the stronger the strain of truffle.

The “travelling” theme was reflected in the label design, influenced by vintage plane tickets. The accompanying graphic backdrops for the labels and other printed materials were all handmade in Zerotrillion’s Amsterdam studio by mixing real mushroom oil with vivid watercolours to create other-worldly landforms. Each is meant to represent “home” for the people travelling. 

When Nature Calls has long been on a mission to change the perception of psychedelics. Moving away from the tried, stereotypical views of what a psychedelic experience is and instead framing them as part of your wellness lifestyle.

Each jar of truffles is enclosed with a postcard-inspired explainer of what the “traveller” can expect on their trip. The copy aims to guide the customer through the experience and gives tips (or “intentions”) of what a person should think about before, during and after their trip.

Through this campaign, we celebrate the transportative potential of our psilocybin truffles — how they can figuratively transport us to cherished moments, evoke feelings of connection and warmth, and provide a profound sense of nourishment when used responsibly. Their deep understanding of the need for connection and inspiration during this season, and they have a rare ability to bring that vision to life in such a tangible way.”
