Let's be honest: When was the last time you sat at your dining room table other than a holiday or to switch up your work-from-home background? Millennial and gen z behaviours have changed as people's relationship with technology (namely, screens in every possible size) have grown closer. The new dining room is the living room, which makes sense, as eating is one of the most enjoyable parts of the day.
In response, Postmates (in partnership with Mother LA) has created the Takeoutfit, the perfect new-fashioned dining ensemble to wear when you're ordering in, laying back and feasting on food while binge-watching your favourite shows. The Takeoutfit is comfortable, stylish and incorporates all the features you need NOT to leave the couch. The black set of separates comes in XS, S, M, L and XL sizing, are made from 100% cotton French Terry cloth with a film demonstrating the unique features. The Takeoutfit will cost $50 and there is only a limited quantity available nationwide beginning April 20th, 2023.
Some of the special features include:
Fold-down kanga pocket that snaps onto heat-resistant, thigh pads forming a tray for your warm delivery order
A limited number of Postmates Takeoutfits will be available for delivery with your food order on 4/20 (Postmates figured a lot of people will be munching and napping that day…) via the Postmates app in New York from Prince Street Pizza, in Los Angeles from Bludso's BBQ and in East Nashville from Nicoletto’s. For those living outside of these delivery zones, you can order yours to be shipped to you for a May delivery while supplies last.
