POSSIBLE NY's Joe Crump Appointed CEO of Wunderman Thompson NY

Joe Crump has been appointed chief executive officer of Wunderman Thompson New York (headquarters), effective immediately. Joe will be responsible for the overall strategic vision, direction and growth of the agency, including overseeing all client relations, delivery and operations. Joe will also continue to act as the North America region team lead for WPP on the VW account. Joe will report to North America CEO Shane Atchison and be based in New York.

Joe joins Wunderman Thompson from POSSIBLE NY, where he served as the managing director for the past 19 months. At POSSIBLE NY, Joe brought in several new client wins and was a key member of the winning WPP-VW Partnership team for North America. Prior to his stint at POSSIBLE NY, Joe spent 17 years at Razorfish (previously SapientRazorfish and currently Publicis.Sapient), where he held multiple executive positions. In 2014, he founded the agency’s product and service innovation practice. Prior to that role, Joe ran the agency’s strategy & planning group and served as executive creative director. Before Razorfish, Joe was a principal at Doblin Group, a pioneer in the field of design thinking, where he used the methods and tools of the social sciences to create market-leading innovations.

With the combination of these powerhouse brands, Wunderman Thompson Seattle will be a formidable creative force, inspiring growth for clients in the progressive Seattle market. The global POSSIBLE brand will remain a stand-alone brand within the Wunderman Thompson network and will continue to exist for key clients.

Wunderman Seattle managing director Justin Marshall has been appointed to president of Wunderman Thompson Seattle, effective immediately. Justin will oversee all client relations, delivery and growth of the Seattle business and operations. Before Wunderman, Justin was the SVP of emerging services at POSSIBLE, where he was responsible for defining long-term, transformational growth solutions that bridged content, commerce and customer experience. Justin will report to North America CEO Shane Atchison and be based in Seattle.
