POD LDN has provided the post production for a fun and vibrant Halloween campaign for Superdrug, giving consumers advice on different makeup looks for the spooky season.
The Haunted Halloween Party campaign consists of a campaign film and six make-up tutorials featuring influencers showcasing different Halloween-inspired looks. The looks are: Wicked Witch, featuring @shania_parris for e.l.f; Spider, featuring @emilycanham for Superdrug Studio London; Devil Duo, featuring @beatbyrache and @kam_eilian, for Makeup Revolution; Mystic Martian by @cheriserenee for Rimmel; Cursed Clown featuring @hollymurraymakeup for NYX Cosmetics; and Ice Queen, by @byeleanorwood for Collection.
POD’s work on the project involved some expert retouching on backgrounds for the films. The content went live on September 9th for the lead up to Halloween but will continue to run until December.
The production and art direction for the campaign was by Charlotte Matheson-Barr, content producer at Superdrug-parent company, AS Watson. The videography was done by Georgia Furness, and the lighting assistant was Chris Turner. Styling was overseen by Rachael Laura White, with wardrobe styling by freelance fashion stylist Bianca Nicole. Oonah Anderson was the campaign make-up artist.
