As Covid-19 shuttered the country in March, Deutsch New York and PNC Bank leaned in to the shifting landscape – from refining messaging, assessing production on a daily basis, the portrayal of consumers in a socially distancing world, and facilitating a 100% remote shoot – and were able to create relatable and witty work showcasing the ease of banking with PNC’s Virtual Wallet checking account. The effort launched nationwide the week of August 17th with over 100 assets across traditional and digital platforms.
Deutsch wanted to bring to life the advanced features in PNC’s latest checking account, and demonstrate that, today, people rely so much more on technology in other aspects of their lives, why not their checking account? The campaign asks: times have changed, why hasn’t the way you bank?
