PepsiCo’s out-of-home 2024 holiday campaign has been given a festive spritz by POD LDN, the global post-production company.
POD LDN was briefed by PepsiCo with adding the all-important condensation effect on cans of Pepsi and Pepsi Max featuring in eight, large-format posters running across the UK and Europe these holidays – a process that involved individually creating hundreds of beads of water.
The posters were also adapted to reflect local packaging, with the UK versions showing a shorter can of Pepsi Max, and some European markets featuring the blue packaging of regular Pepsi. The team worked on both CMYK and RGB versions for optimal display across different formats, with a high-resolution finish at 450 DPI.
Carmen DeWitt, executive producer at Pepsico, said, “Even in the middle of the winter, we still have certain expectations of how our cans of Pepsi and Pepsi Max should look – and when you’re working on the scale of large-format OOH, you’ve got to make sure that every little detail is perfect.”
