DOMA is a newly established London post-production company specialising in Colour and Edit. Co-founders Jake Evans and Morgan Faverty previously founded Pavilion Works, a social-first content production company, in 2017. Now, they have officially launched DOMA, which continues to offer the high-quality post-production services they are known for, while also expanding their scope of potential clients and collaborators in the industry.
Jake Evans stated, "This move feels natural for us, given our deep understanding of our clients' needs within this sector over the years. We are excited to broaden our range of collaborators and work with new talent in the industry."
DOMA's mission is to foster emerging voices within the post-production, and its initial roster includes colourist Nielsan Bohl and editor Sam Hardy, both of whom have worked with a diverse array of clients such as eBay, Stormzy, Nike, Peroni, and British Vogue. DOMA plans to further develop its roster and aims to offer VFX services in the near future.
Working closely with branding Explorers Club Studio, Jake and Morgan sought to create an instantly recognisable brand that stands out in the competitive post-production landscape. Morgan explained, "We wanted to infuse fresh energy into this sector, moving away from the often corporate identities seen in post-production. The brand had to reflect our sense of play while showcasing the high level of craft we are known for."
To achieve this, they designed an iconic Gargoyle character that represents the spirit of creation within post. The Gargoyle character is versatile and can be used across various formats for merchandising, marketing, and creating unique characters for every talent that joins the roster.
