Havas Sydney has today announced two new senior
appointments to further strengthen the agency's digital capabilities as
it looks to enhance its position as one of Australia's leading digital
agencies. Paul Bootlis (right) joins as digital creative director and
Yoann Bernex (left) expands the digital technology team as technical
lead.
Bootlis returns to Australia after a stint in the US, most recently at
AKQA, San Francisco. He brings over 15 years experience as a creative
director and copywriter, having worked with a number of leading global
brands including Google, Nike, Toyota, Cadbury and Pernod Ricard. He has
also led world famous creative campaigns, including the launch of Apple
Watch. Partnering with Gustavo Vampre, he will be responsible for
creative development on digital and integrated briefs, overseeing the
team's execution to final product. He will report into joint executive
creative director, Seamus Higgins.
Bernex joins Havas Sydney with
11 years' of technical experience in front end development, database
management, web service and source and deployment workflows. He will
lead a team of front and back end developers, working on social network
integration, mobile web apps and developing complex business
intelligence systems for global brands. He will report into chief
digital officer, Gordon Dougal.
