Rattling Stick is pleased to announce the signing of director Patrick Hughes for U.S. and UK representation. The Australian director’s work is a blend of visuals with attitude, performance direction and comedic storytelling, making him one of the top commercial directors in his home country and abroad. He joins the award-winning production company with a stellar list of commercial and feature film work.
Hughes has directed notable spots for brands such as Xbox, BMW, Honda, Mercedes, Vodafone and Toyota. He wrote and directed the digital romantic short film Signs, which quickly became an on-line sensation, garnering over 10 million hits and winning a Gold Lion Cannes award in 2009. Hughes wrote and directed his first feature in 2010 titled, Red Hill, which debuted at the Berlin Film Festival to excellent reviews and sellout crowds. Sony Pictures in the U.S. and Momentum Pictures in the UK released this superb thriller with a modern day western theme.
Now based in Los Angeles, Hughes recently completed his first project with Rattling Stick for the global hospitality brand Marriott Hotels out of mcgarrybowen. Hughes was formerly represented by @radical media.
