Clockwork Films is thrilled to announce the addition of highly awarded director Patrick Fileti to their AU and NZ roster. Patrick's beautifully shot films capture the essence of human emotions and the joy of everyday moments. His work sits in a unique space between documentary, fiction and experimental cinema, often featuring non-actors, capturing life as it really is. The results are beautifully crafted films that audiences deeply connect with.
Katie Trew, EP Clockwork Films said: "Patrick is a very special kind of storyteller. He has a remarkable ability to offer glimpses of the world that we don’t often get to see. His deep understanding of film as a craft enables him to bring a level of sophistication and artistry to commercial work. That’s why audiences remember and talk about his films. The team at Clockwork is thrilled to have Patrick on board”.
Through his work with global brands such as Google, Canon, Lexus, Porsche, McDonald’s, Sky News and WWF, Patrick has garnered international recognition, including Titanium and Grand Prix Cannes Lion, Clio Hall of Fame and has been accepted into MOMA New York. Patrick's recent documentary 'Inferno' shot in Tultepec, Mexico, received widespread critical acclaim and took home the Academy-accredited Best Short Film at the Palm Springs International Film Festival with an exclusive premiere on Nowness.
Patrick said: “I’m thrilled to join the Clockwork team. Their proactive attitude towards production, unwavering dedication to film craft, and relentless pursuit of innovation is refreshing. Can’t wait to see what we create together.”
