Chevrolet has created a once-in-a-lifetime experience for children’s community football teams in Mexico – partnering with Manchester United Soccer School to pass on the skills, passion and excitement of football through the Chevrolet Soccer Festival.
Jack Morton, the global brand experience agency, worked with Chevrolet to create the experience, which took place at the Cancha 4 football pitch, Monterrey, Mexico on November 9th and 10th.
Local boys and girls participated in the two-day festival, where Manchester United Soccer Schools coaches passed on soccer techniques and strategy through a fun-filled experience which included skills coaching, mini games and penalty practice, amongst many more activities. The festival culminated in a competitive tournament on day two. The children also got to spend time with Manchester United legends, Denis Irwin and Ronny Johnsen as part of the festival’s activities.
