Living with an autoimmune disease like psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis can be a real pain...everywhere! The ups and downs can be a difficult dance, keeping someone with symptoms far from the moments and connections they deeply desire. Thankfully, with Taltz, the top pharmaceutical treatment for this condition, life can feel more like a joyful waltz.
Animation studio Panic was ready to take on the challenge when Taltz, together with Grey Group, Townhouse, and Tank WW, trusted them to bring to life a story showcasing the medication's positive impact on everyday life.
Originally, Panic developed two videos for the campaign, each representing a character dealing with different symptoms and showing how, with Taltz, they can complete tasks and enjoy time with loved ones - despite the diagnosis. Panic subsequently produced director's cuts based on the two original videos.
With a realistic colour palette and light and shadow taken into account, Panic designed each frame to cinematographically immerse viewers in a real-world style where they can almost feel the sunshine. Thoughtful camera angles, motions, and associative editing between environments produced a fluidity that subtly reminds viewers how physical movements can be challenging with this condition.
Panic's relatable characters comfortably engage in pleasurable moments with loved ones as they move through creatively integrated graphic messages that organically display product information. Despite their diagnosis, Michelle can keep up with her friends and family to keep making special memories, and Hank feels confident enough to concentrate on what's most important to him.
Panic clearly illustrates that little things can be a big deal for someone struggling with psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis. But, when they take on the day with Taltz, life can be fulfilling, relationships get nourished, and daily pleasures we often take for granted are more within reach.
