OVO Energy, the UK electricity and gas supplier, is putting the love back into the energy market with a new TV campaign which launched on Valentine’s Day.
The comical TV ads, by Fabula, show a series of relationship counseling sessions between frustrated customers and their energy supplier.
Teaser ads broke on Friday, February 7th in the run up to the campaign launch on February 14th. The 30 second TV spots are supported by press, outdoor, digital and social media activity.
The campaign, called “Feel Loved Again”, highlights OVO’s objectives to put people before profits and aims to establish the brand as a consumer champion in a market dominated by six major suppliers.
'Feel Loved Again' is Fabula’s first major campaign for OVO since winning the business last year.
