Orlando Wood Joins Rogue Films
Former Biscuit Filmworks EP joins as Managing Director and Exec Producer
announced today that Orlando Wood has joined the company as Managing Director and Executive Producer. Orlando comes with a wealth of experience within the industry on both agency and production company side. Starting his career at Wieden and Kennedy Amsterdam before moving to Fallon London; Orlando spent the last five years setting up and running the production company Biscuit Filmworks in London and, under his aegis, built it into one of the top production companies in the city.
Orlando joins as MD to continue Rogue’s growth and development across multiple disciplines. “I’ve admired Rogue since my time at Wieden Amsterdam and have been supremely impressed by their work and growth, in the last few years in particular. Their understanding of the evolving marketplace and willingness to respond to new challenges with fresh thinking is a key component of my decision to come here. Rogue’s newest offering, Carnage, represents just a small fraction of their expansive thinking and I can’t wait for people to see what Rogue has planned over the next few years.”
Charlie Crompton, founding partner of Rogue, said “Orlando’s background as an agency producer, film producer, and company head made him the perfect fit for this role as we prepare Rogue for the coming years of growth. What he achieved at Biscuit ,in a very short period of time, was hugely impressive and cemented his reputation as an EP that agencies can rely upon, collaborate with and trust. Add to that his perfect jawline, his beautiful eyes, and his hair… my god his hair… and we just couldn’t resist jumping into bed with him.”
“Rogue is undergoing significant strategic and professional growth and it’s important that we have the right team around us to ensure that we never lose what has made us a valuable partner to the clients who work with us. Hiring Orlando is a key part of that strategy and shows our commitment to ensuring Rogue continues to evolve and grow over the next 10 years.” Continues David Van Der Gaag (founding partner of Rogue).
