Origin, ISBA’s UK cross-media measurement programme, is beginning the implementation of its independent audit framework, issuing three Requests for Proposals to review core elements of the methodology and engaging with industry experts RSMB to advise on quality assurance.
The three RFPs being issued cover auditing of the core Origin panel, the Virtual ID model and the campaign reach and frequency implementation, and form part of an end-to-end and ongoing audit strategy for the Origin solution. Audits are expected to run in the second quarter of 2025. Interested vendors should contact Alex North (alexn@isba.org.uk) for more detail on the RFPs.
Alongside these methodology audits, Origin has commissioned RSMB to guide on the quality framework employed within the solution. RSMB brings a wealth of experience in industry measurement validation, and as such is well placed to review and advise on the quality controls in place to help maintain confidence in the campaign reach and frequency data being produced. This initial engagement will run across the first quarter of 2025.
Tom George, CEO, Origin commented, “Independent validation has been a fundamental pillar of Origin since its inception, and stakeholders from across the industry have reiterated just how crucial this is to drive trust in the solution. We’re excited to start our audit framework with these three RFPs, and particularly to continue working with RSMB, whose expertise will be invaluable in guiding us on quality assurance.”
Ross Wightman, commercial director, RSMB added, “RSMB is looking forward to engaging with the Origin team following our previous work to firstly theoretically assess and then undertake a proof-of-concept test of the Virtual ID approach. Data quality is crucial for any measurement solution, and we are eager to apply our experience to help ensure Origin launches with an assurance framework that provides the industry with confidence that the WFA/Origin methodology has been properly implemented and tested end-to-end.”
