Ogilvy UK announced today that they were appointing Elaine Grell as chief people officer. A renowned HR leader Elaine brings an award-winning strategic approach coupled with deep cultural expertise and will work with Ogilvy’s people team across all five areas of the business – including Advertising, Experience, PR, Consulting and Health.
Elaine brings with her a global perspective, with skills developed in both the UK and USA, from companies including The Collective, IHG and IAG. She has a wide experience and is passionate about continuing to enhance the employee experience. In addition, Elaine has an MBA, a CIPD Fellowship, and is a Trustee for the Springboard Charity, who mentors emerging talent and helps young people and those from disadvantaged groups get into the hospitality industry.
Elaine will partner Fiona Gordon, along with the leaders of Ogilvy’s, leading the people team including Gemma Davies, Gemma Wise and Gavin Sutton, to continue the momentum that has been achieved in the months since Gordon took over as CEO.
