Ogilvy & Mather London Promotes Sam Cartmell to Deputy ECD

Ogilvy & Mather London (O&M London) has promoted Sam Cartmell to the position of Deputy ECD, effective immediately. In this newly created role, Cartmell will report to O&M London’s new CCO, Mick Mahoney. He will support Mahoney in the day-to-day running of O&M London’s creative department to ensure that the creative product is best in class.

In his new position, Cartmell will also join the agency’s broader management team to help build and drive a vision for the agency. He will continue to have responsibility for key clients across the business.

He is a talented creative with diverse experience and he gets what we’re trying to do here at O&M. He also happens to be a lovely bloke to have around.”

Since joining the agency as Creative Partner in July 2015, Cartmell has worked across clients including Pizza Hut Delivery, BP and Heineken UK.
