Ogilvy Indonesia has appointed Anton Reyniers as group strategy director, further strengthening the management lineup.
Reyniers joins Ogilvy & Mather Indonesia with experience at agencies like BBH London, BBDO Singapore and most recently JWT Singapore where he was planning director.
“Having had exposure to the Indonesian market through previous regional roles, there is no denying that Indonesia is the most exciting, culturally dynamic and important place to be right now, which is why smart and creative communications is a top priority for both local and global brands,” said Reyniers.
“Indonesia is a fantastic place for people in our industry who are interested in building brands, motivating a youthful, culturally-diverse and digitally-savvy population, and working with clients with ambition. We are looking forward to working with Anton and he’s come at the right time,” said Katryna Mojica, Ogilvy Indonesia CEO.
“Anton's extensive experience spanning London and Singapore with APAC responsibilities including Indonesia has made him a perfect addition to the management team in Jakarta. Given that he's joined the strongest network in the region he'll be right at home,” added Paul Matheson, regional president strategy and planning Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific.
As group strategy director for Ogilvy & Mather Indonesia, Anton will help lead the delivery of excellence in strategic thinking across Ogilvy's clients and partner with Ruby Sudoyo to expand the planning department given the agency’s growing needs.
