Now kicks off ‘Bags of Feelgood’ for Florette
Now is launching a brand new campaign for Florette with £5m behind it, the largest investment the brand has ever made.
The new campaign will break on 4th April with a 40” spot titled ‘The Joy of Salad’, written by John Townshend and art directed by Steve Paskin. The spot was shot by Simon Willows through Blinkink, and choreographed by Robert Hylton, the renowned hip hop fuse artist.
The film uses the track ‘Eeh! Ah! Oh! Ooh!’ made famous by Peter Sellers, Spike Milligan and Harry Secombe as The Goons in 1957.
The action centres around a couple at home, who turn the making of a salad into an art. The ‘feel good’ nature of the meal is a catalyst to turning their normal evening at home into an impromptu display of dexterity.
The moment she opens the fridge, throws the bag and he catches it by chance, the viewers are witnesses to a range of impressive teamwork, as they work seamlessly and intuitively together, selecting and preparing ingredients in a fun and flirty way.
And their efforts are paid off when they have a delicious meal to sit down to at the end of it all (even if something does eventually go wrong!)
John Townshend, Creative Partner at Now said: ‘Salad is one of the few things that you can actually feel great about eating and serving, and we wanted to capture that spirit.’
The campaign will be supported by posters, press and display advertising
