Standing out from the crowd of non-profit organizations during Christmas is a huge task. This year Save the Children Norway together with Nord DDB Oslo tried a new approach by making their own organization’s name an important part of the message.
“The need for help is greater than ever. Our ambitious goal is to recruit more regular donors than ever before. To achieve this, Save the Children must be less frequently confused with other organizations, and viewers must feel the urgent need for help. We believe we have found a good solution to both those challenges this year”, explained Linn Clausen, senior advisor at Save the Children Norway.
Guri Sanders, senior advisor at Nord DDB continued, “Christmas represents an important period for all organizations, but the competition for attention is fierce. This year, we have focused on the core of what makes Save the Children, Save the Children – no matter the season. All images, messages, and the graphic design have been crafted to strengthen Save the Children's identity while also clearly highlighting the urgent need for help for children around the world."
