Non-Profit Turas Highlights the Destruction of Problem Gambling with Latest Campaign

Addiction to gambling is a problem that is sweeping across Ireland at levels never seen before. In fact, a very recent ESRI study estimated that 1-in-30 adults in Ireland suffer from problem gambling – ten times higher than previously thought. 

Turas is a not-for-profit counselling service that offers free support to those affected by problem gambling on their journey to recovery. Bonfire has created a campaign that will run on OOH, radio and social channels to promote the service and encourage those affected to get in touch. 

The idea behind the campaign is based on the unfortunate reality that problem gambling can be utterly destructive, laying waste to families, relationships, careers and finances. The good news is that there is positive, non-judgemental help out there from the wonderful people at Turas.
