NABS’ annual Stranger Than Summer fundraising gala raised £150,000 last night to advance the mental wellness of everyone working in advertising, marketing and media.
In total, 870 people attended the renowned industry party, which was held at City Central at the HAC.
NABS took more than 4500 calls on their Advice Line last year and the charity put on 100 free workshops, attended by 1500 adlanders.
NABS relies solely on industry donations to exist, and this year’s total will help to fund the charity as it continues to help people across our industry community.
The event was hosted by festival MC Ben and after-dinner entertainment was provided by Katy Ellis as Taylor Swift.
Sue Todd, CEO, NABS said, “Attendance at Stranger than Summer was back to 2019 levels; we’re thrilled that the industry supported the event in such strong numbers. We can only exist thanks to donations from the industry, meaning that we’re especially grateful to everyone who helped us to get to a fantastic fundraising total last night.”
Gold partners were Channel Factory and Active International while the raffle sponsor was Astus.
