NABS Launches Podcast with Bruce Daisley as Its First Guest

Each episode will feature an interview with a leading figure in the industry, focusing on how they support their mental wellness and that of those around them

NABS, the support organisation for those working in advertising, marketing and media, is to launch its own podcast on Tuesday 4 July.  

The NABS Podcast is essential listening for mental wellness at work. Each episode will feature an interview with a leading figure in the industry, focusing on how they support their mental wellness and that of those around them. Interviewees will also reveal their personal stories and experiences of the industry and how they’re challenging the status quo to make the industry a kinder, more supportive and more diverse place to be. 

The podcast is for everybody working in advertising, marketing and media; a safe space to discuss wellness in our industry as well as offering insights on a host of related topical issues. The industry is at the forefront of change, landing on our community first and fast, making the insights shared on the NABS Podcast particularly valuable to listeners. 

The podcast is one of several new innovations at NABS following an update to its proposition, which is now to advance the mental wellness of everyone working in our industry. NABS’ renewed focus on building and engaging community is particularly well-reflected here, as the podcast provides a chance to connect with speakers and other listeners alike. 

Episodes last for a snackable half-hour. 

The NABS Podcast launch episode interviewee is Bruce Daisley, workplace culture guru, podcaster and author and formerly EMEA vice president for Twitter. Bruce shares his insights for building culture in a hybrid world, focusing on the importance on forming social connections and how we can do this after the trauma and interruption of lockdown.  

Other NABS Podcast guests feature leading industry lights including Amy Kean, Chris Hayward, Nicky Kemp, Rania Robinson and Marty Davies. 

The NABS Podcast will be presented by Louise Scodie, NABS PR lead and event host, who hails from a broadcasting and journalism background. It is produced by Lewis Hill, NABS’ digital marketing manager. 

Episodes will be released every fortnight, with six episodes planned for series one and another six for series two in the autumn.
