MullenLowe Creatives Honored At Interpublic Group’s Ninth Annual Inclusion Awards Ceremony
MullenLowe U.S. is pleased to announce that Erin Swenson Gorrall, V.P., Group Strategy Director, MullenLowe U.S., and Blake Winfree, Creative Director, MullenLowe U.S., were honored with the prestigious Inclusive Leadership Award at IPG’s ninth annual Inclusion Awards ceremony held in New York. Both leaders were recognized for their inspiring work with the 25Forty project, a program designed to increase diversity within advertising, by introducing the profession to high school students.
Launched at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2016 by these two visionaries, the program both successfully targets and engages the next generation of diverse, creative minds – high school students – to demonstrate the power of creativity and the importance of ideas within advertising. Through mentorship by various participating agencies, these organizations helped to grow students’ ideas and help curate bonafide creative campaigns with the top three winning a $10,000 donation for their partner school.
Since it’s remarkable beginning and continued growth, Swenson Gorrall and Winfree have expanded to forge connections with both schools and agencies all across the nation. This past October, the initiative was officially launched to significant fanfare with agencies Pereira & O’Dell, Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Bartle Bogle Hergarty becoming some of the first of many agencies to pledge their support and create pathways for a more diverse advertising industry.
