The agency, part of the McCann Worldgroup network, also added a silver award and a shortlist for the brand and became the local agency with the best performance in this version of the French festival.
Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity came to an end and MRM Chile became the only national agency to obtain a Gold Lion in the contest thanks to its work for NotCo, the main foodtech in Latin America. The initiative that achieved this award, in addition to a silver and a shortlist, corresponded to "We didn't write this campaign."
Pablo Sommer, managing director of the office that is part of the McCann Worldgroup network, said: "This award comes to close a great first semester, where we added one of the main retailers in the region as a client and we became leaders in the ranking of Scopen in terms of Customer Valuation, to whom from martech, data and creativity we are helping to generate a meaningful relationship with their audiences. We could not have reached this result without working closely with NotCo”.
Macarena García, brand manager of NotCo, expressed that: "Hard work, as a team, doing things well, with humility and respect, brings positive results. The shortlist, the silver and the gold for such a young brand from Chile, with a real case, in such a complex year, in a festival of the importance of Cannes, it is hard to believe. Having represented the industry, our country and the region in Cannes fills us with pride and only gives us more strength to continue giving our best".
These recognitions were also the first for the Chilean unicorn. “These lions are fuel for the agency's creative teams and an invitation to continue building real solutions for our clients, from creativity. In addition, the result obtained this year in Cannes is a wonderful closing of a first year leading the creativity of MRM Chile, and a sign that we have been doing things well. It is an immense pride”, said Leonardo Chiesi, chief creative officer of the agency.
With these awards, MRM Chile was also the local agency with the best performance in the 70th version of the French festival.
