Mother in New York has announced the arrival of seven new individuals to its creative department. The growth follows a slew of diverse new business wins for the agency.
The new creative class of 2023 includes Gustavo Dorietto (executive creative director), creative partners Paulo Damasceno and Lucas Silva (creatives) as well as Jaye Thompson and Emily Kaufman (creatives), Hajung Song (creative), and Sam Eaton (creative).

Dorietto joins from The Martin Agency, where he has been since 2021, most recently serving as vp, group creative director. Prior, Dorietto was a vp, ecd at Chobani’s in-house agency and has held creative roles at 72andSunny, Droga5, and TBWA\Chiat\Day NY, among others.
For long-time friends Damasceno and Silva, the decision to move to New York and join Mother marks a career reunion. The pair were creative partners at DAVID São Paulo from 2017 to 2020. Following their departures, Damasceno and Silva held creative positions at DAVID Miami and GUT Miami, respectively, from 2020 to 2023.
Thompson and Kaufman join from JOAN Creative, where the two have served as creative since 2022. Song joins from FRED & FARID NY, where she served as a creative since 2019. Eaton joins from Droga5, where he joined as an intern in 2019 and then as a creative until his departure.
