McCann has announced the appointment of Monica Tailor and Crystal Malachias as co-managing directors of McCann Content Studios (MCS), the network’s unified social and influencer group, in addition to their remits as chief social marketing officer and global head of influencer, respectively.
In their new roles, Monica will lead the group’s operations in the Americas and in the Asia-Pacific region and Crystal will do the same in the UK/Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The announcement comes on the heels of sustained success the group. In just over a year since its launch, McCann Content Studios has rapidly expanded into new global markets and taken on 30 new clients, including Durex, Lysol, Maybelline, NYX Professional Makeup, McCain’s, Acer, Kia, Iberostar and Betty Crocker.
Monica remarked, “The growth of McCann Content Studios validates what we have always instinctively known – that for a brand to endure, it must ensure every message is in the service of its brand platform and north star. It’s been an incredible ride with my co-pilot Crystal as an increasing number of new and existing clients are engaging MCS to do just that. I’m excited for all that is ahead as we expand our group to new markets.”
By uniting social and influencer capabilities under one roof, the group is able to leverage these channels to further amplify and strengthen each brand’s platform, compared to competitive offerings which often approach these functions as separate from each brand’s core creative efforts and messaging.

In just over a year, McCann Content Studios has achieved rapid and sustained success, now with operations in 10 markets: New York, London, Manchester, Birmingham UK, Paris, Madrid, Dubai, Delhi, Singapore and Mexico City. Recently, MCS was awarded three Effies for its work with Aldi - two Gold European Effies and one Bronze UK – and launched a number of notable campaigns, including 'O’Dour Couture' with Dettol and 'Afterglow' with Durex.
