Everyone knows a team that feels included and empowered is one of the most important factors to business success. Many offices are still stuck in an old, outdated way to work that's unnecessarily hierarchical and messy. Microsoft Teams is helping to change the way we work together by creating one smart place where everyone on a team can feel included, heard, and prepared, no matter who or where they are.
Nearly three years ago, Microsoft launched Teams, its hub for collaboration that offers chat, meetings, calling, and file collaboration. Now, the tech leader is launching a new global advertising campaign that juxtaposes the old way of working – hierarchical meetings in large conference rooms, and piles of paper – with a fresh, modern view of a workplace built around teamwork and everyone being included and heard.
Microsoft CVP of advertising Kathleen Hall said: “Teams is ultimately about empowerment. It’s about everyone being included, heard and prepared - unleashing the power of collaboration. The campaign aims to build awareness of Teams and demonstrate how Teams makes meetings dynamic, inclusive and productive.”
The campaign imagery represents the transformation the product is helping achieve inside the growing number of companies that use it. And the investment Microsoft is making in the campaign itself signifies the success the company has had to date with Teams, which is in arguably one of the company’s greatest success stories of the last decade.
This is the first global ad campaign for Microsoft Teams. The campaign will launch on 19th January during the NFL playoffs in the US, and will continue in network and cable programming, podcasts and digital, as well as static and digital OOH. In the UK, France and Germany the campaign will launch in February in broadcast and across multiple channels.
