Michelle is no stranger to the world of music and artistic expression. With a distinguished career spanning over a decade, she has consistently demonstrated an exceptional ability to infuse emotion and imagination into her compositions. Her unique talent for blending diverse musical genres and her commitment to pushing the boundaries of creativity align perfectly with Two AM’s values and aspirations.
Outside of the music-for-media world, Michelle releases music under the alias
Froya. Her experimental groove-driven synth electronica garnered the attention of the Guinness Amplify platform, which went on to fully fund the launch of her debut album, 'Panic Bird' in 2015. The release of 'Panic Bird' won Froya the award for Best Engineered Album at Malaysia’s AIM 22 awards.
Since then, Froya has performed at several prestigious music festivals locally and internationally including Music Matters, Laneway Festival, Good Vibes Festival (2014, 2016, 2018), and Aliwal Urban Art Festival. Throughout these performances she’s shared the lineup with numerous artists including Lorde, Alt-J, Glass Animals, Ellie Goulding, Aurora, Nao, and many others.
Oliver Stutz, executive creative director at Two AM Music, said “Michelle’s musical taste and song writing prowess is nothing short of outstanding. Through her experience in vocal-centric productions, her sophisticated approach to storytelling and musical arrangement has always stood out to me, and I’m thrilled to welcome her to the team."
Michelle said, “I am truly grateful and deeply humbled by the incredible opportunity to be a part of the Two AM family. It's an absolute dream to collaborate with such a talented, driven, and passionate team."
Everyone here is inspired to do their absolute best, and I am no exception. I’m looking forward to the journey of growth and the opportunity to create amazing work together!”
