Chris Woods’ career began behind the lens with a humble Minolta camera, documenting the skateboarding culture around him. Although his skateboarding skills never reached professional levels, his unique eye for capturing the raw energy and personality of the scene quickly garnered attention. As his talent evolved, his work began appearing in major publications such as Rolling Stone and SPIN, propelling him into the world of professional photography.
A pivotal moment came when he was invited to direct a commercial - an experience that earned awards and brought Chris international acclaim. This project ignited his passion for motion and storytelling, leading him to transition from photography to a thriving career in directing. Known for his Super Bowl commercials and collaborations with top brands like Nike and Apple, Chris has worked with celebrities, musicians, and sports icons, bringing a fresh perspective to every project he undertakes.
Most recently, Chris partnered with Method & Madness on his latest campaign for Dude Wipes, where his humour, visual style, and knack for capturing candid moments brought the campaign to life. This successful collaboration is just a glimpse of what’s to come as he joins the Method & Madness family.
