The story centres on a creature both human and animal, amongst his rituals, and with a sense of foreboding. The creatures of this world are imagined as Theriocephaly - with animal heads and human bodies. Good and evil are apparent from design, expression, movement. As we wind further down the path, we glimpse strands of truth, the underbelly, and denouement. Sweet revenge.

Jess’s animated worlds are classical and hand made in style and execution. With the modern demands of time and schedule, it is a style that can be mistaken for being left behind. Yet even with the task of this seven minute epic in under six weeks, Jess’s unique vision rings true. The hand made and painted characters and worlds were made with long time collaborator Adam Oehlers, and brought in to a digital world by Partizan Animation’s team of artists and animators. Jess’s traditional and hand crafted style was still the doctrine, as each character and creation was animated frame by frame, each piece of the puzzle hand made.
