B-Reel and AMV BBDO create interactive Sound With Power project

There’s no sound quite like the powerful purr of a Mercedes-Benz engine. Integrated production company B-Reel worked closely with ad agency AMV BBDO to create “Sound With Power”, an interactive audio-visual experience that enables users to create audio mashups by combining the sound of the new Mercedes E 63 AMG engine and multiple videos ranging from performers including, Tinie Tempah and Sub Focus to childrens classic Stingray - all playing in perfect sync. Users can share mashups on Twitter for the chance to see them included in upcoming television commercials for the car.

 

Working with Ithaca Audio and AMV BBDO, B-Reel created a fully responsive and intuitive platform that enables seamless and simultaneous playback of multiple video clips across all desktop and mobile platforms. The company’s custom-built system automatically adjusts the size and quality of the videos to individual hardware and browser and synchronizes the video clips to the audio. It proved a significant technical challenge, but the results speak for themselves with a perfectly synced and fluid experience for the audience.
