In an effort to promote diversity and social inclusion in football and beyond, Media.Monks and BMW Italy took to the field of AC Milan for the launch of the new campaign 'More Diversity is More'.
The campaign was launched during the Milan - Atalanta match on February 25th, featuring a manifesto video with AC Milan players and shown for the first time on the Maxi Led Wall before the game, with the aim of spreading inclusivity and encouraging active participation. The initiative was displayed both at the stadium and across all BMW's and AC Milan's social channels.
At the core of the campaign is a simple yet highly recognisable gesture: a "+" sign created by different hands crossing paths. A symbol that immediately conveys the added value that comes from diversity, with different hands coming together and collaborating to create something more. It is accompanied by the slogan '+ Diversity is More,' followed by 'More Beauty, More Perspectives, More Ideas, More Love, More Joy,' emphasising the various ways in which diversity can add value across a wide range of concepts.
The campaign was signed in a unique way: the two logos of BMW and AC Milan united for the first time by the "+" sign, a symbol that will also be featured in future initiatives to further reinforce the communication message.
The Milan-Atalanta match marked the beginning of a much broader operation where the + symbol will be prominent whenever the brand has a platform to support diversity and social inclusion. Because diversity is wealth, and if we can embrace it, we all win.
