Mook> I decided to pursue a career in advertising out of curiosity. I started my career at a traditional branding firm, and I was fascinated by how the next phase of brand and product development worked behind the scenes. This curiosity drove me to explore the dynamic and ever-evolving field of advertising.
Mook> Going to art museums is my favourite Sunday afternoon activity. It helps expand my thinking and sometimes provides a refreshing break from more routine projects. This passion for art has influenced my work in advertising by inspiring creativity and offering new perspectives that I can apply to my campaigns.
Mook> One project I’m particularly proud of is ADLaM for Microsoft. It started as a passion project a couple of years ago and evolved into a meaningful design initiative that made a tangible impact. The project not only won numerous awards but also demonstrated the power of design in creating real-world change.
Mook> My advice would be to stay curious, ask lots of questions, and never overlook the small details. Curiosity drives innovation, and attention to detail ensures the quality and effectiveness of your work.
Mook> I enjoy taking long walks from uptown to lower Manhattan. Observing people and art along the way while listening to my favourite podcast is a delightful experience. It’s a great way to soak in the city’s vibrant energy and diverse culture.
Mook> The Noguchi Museum is a small but serene museum that I highly recommend. It features a beautiful café with a view of a Japanese stone garden and often hosts interesting art performances throughout the year. It’s a peaceful retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle.
