Rising through the ranks: the international creative music agency enhances leadership at its Warsaw office, showcasing Piotr Ćwikliński, Aneta Kabsa and Mateusz Szmigiero in key roles

MassiveMusic, the agency of record and music partner for some of the world’s most iconic brands, has announced the promotion of three key managers at its Warsaw office. Piotr Ćwikliński, Aneta Kabsa and Mateusz Szmigiero, who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and expertise, will now assume crucial roles as managing director, creative development director and executive creative director, respectively.

All of them have been integral members of MassiveMusic Warsaw since its inception and the opening of its doors on the Polish market in 2021. Prior to their roles at MassiveMusic, they worked together at CORD and Big Sync.

Piotr Ćwikliński said, “Drawing on the talents of our newly revitalised team, we aim to enhance the visibility of Polish work on the global stage, by combining the creative thinking of a local team and the overarching strategy of a global music agency. A dynamic synergy that cements our commitment to the local market and propels us to new heights in the international landscape.”

The revamped team is tasked with crafting 360-degree sonic branding and music marketing services for brands and agencies – from strategy and creative ideation to music production.

More precisely, Piotr Ćwikliński, previously creative development director, now spearheads an eight-person team, with a focus on client coordination and licensing projects.

Aneta Kabsa, previously creative sync director, steps into the role of creative development director, leading strategic initiatives, driving business development and managing key clients.

Mateusz Szmigiero, formerly creative director, now takes on the role of executive creative director, overseeing the creative team and leveraging his expertise in music supervision and production.

“There’s so much untapped potential in the region”, said Paul Reynolds, SVP, global creative services at MassiveMusic and Songtradr. “Not only is Warsaw one of the most important business services hubs in CEE; it’s also a vibrant melting pot of world-class creativity. Our revamped approach goes beyond traditional boundaries. Call us trailblazers, but we aspire to establish a new standard for leadership and creative excellence.” He continued, “Educating the industry on the profound impact of music and sound, including paving the way for innovative sonic strategies, is one of our key objectives.”

With MassiveMusic deeply engaged in a variety of projects, the overhaul of the Warsaw team comes at a pivotal moment for the international music agency and its Polish branch, bringing fresh perspectives and creative approaches while aligning the team with the latest industry trends, fostering a more informed client base.

Part of the Songtradr Group, MassiveMusic was acquired by the world’s largest B2B music company in June of 2021. The deal, which has had MassiveMusic leading Songtradr’s B2B Music Services division, brought together state-of-the-art music licensing technologies with best-in-class creation of bespoke music and strategy for brands and agencies.

In the past year alone, MassiveMusic Warsaw's outstanding work on several client projects has garnered industry recognition and awards. They triumphed at the KTR award ceremony, securing six swords for campaigns such as 'Around The Touch’, which received the prestigious Gold award. Additionally, their excellence was acknowledged for the ‘YES’ campaign and ‘Reserved’. Additional accolades include awards from Kreatura for ‘Around The Touch’ and Effie for ‘YES’, as well as the esteemed British Music+Sound award for Rakiety’s Oncological Foundation campaign.
