The Post Arm has announced that, Maryanne Butler, ex head of design Framestore New York, is joining its team. Primarily a grading and finishing house established by edit companies, The Quarry and Whitehousepost, Maryanne will bring high end design to its offering and will work alongside superstar colourists Seamus O’Kane, Jim Bracher and the world class flame team.

Maryanne began her career at renowned VFX house Animal Logic where she had the opportunity to work with Australia’s best digital artists and commercials directors as a VFX compositor and supervisor.

On joining Framestore, she helped establish its New York office and she worked on commercial projects with Academy Award-winning directors Kathryn Bigelow and Barry Levinson, earning two VES nods for craft, before building and running its design team.

Maryanne was creative director for the VR film, The Nature of Industry, which won the Cannes Mobile Grand Prix, and worked on studio projects for Warner Bros and Jigsaw Productions, partnering closely with documentary film maker Alex Gibney on 'Wikileaks: We Steal Secrets' and with the National Geographic on their television series 'Chain Of Command'. She has been named as one of Adweek’s 'Creative 100' as a Top 20 Content Creator and was featured in Business Insider’s list of 'The 30 Most Creative Women in Advertising'.

Since moving back to London, Maryanne has been a frequent creative collaborator at The Post Arm, contributing design work for Harry Enfield and Daniel Kleinman’s BBC project 'The Lovebox In Your Living Room' and various other commercial projects.

Helen Stanley, who heads up The Post Arm said, “Maryanne is an incredible talent, whenever we have collaborated over the years, she is always absolutely in tune with what our clients want, just full of ideas for any brief. I am excited that she will be collaborating with us all at The Post Arm.”
