Marcel Paris Celebrates Centre Pompidou's Iconic Silhouette

Agency creates miniature souvenirs and takes to the streets of Paris to entice tourists to the complex

What makes a tourist attraction a 'must-see' for visitors staying in Paris? Its beauty? Its stunning views? Its rich history? French complex and modern art museum Centre Pompidou teamed up with Marcel Paris to find out with their latest campaign. 

Although Parisians come in their thousands to visit Centre Pompidou, international tourists seem mostly unaware of its existence. As a result, they are missing out on a collection that rivals the MoMA in New York or even the Tate Modern in London. 

To stir up interest in the centre, Marcel Paris created a miniature souvenir of the centre, and took to the streets to seed them among other tourist shops and street sellers. 

Not only was the miniature a nifty souvenir, it also included a QR code on its base. When scanned with a phone, the QR code would open up Google Maps and lead the buyer to Centre Pompidou.
