Manwich and DDB West are premiering a new ad campaign that embraces what makes Manwich so special: It's saucy, messy and delicious on a bun.
Since its introduction in 1969, Manwich has been a favorite family meal -- and over the years, the brand has been known for everything from being a meal large enough for a grown man, to offering a full serving of vegetables for growing kids.
For the new campaign, DDB West has created a series of spots that focus on the positive effects of the messy meal and why Manwich can actually lead to a pretty good thing. By requiring the use of two hands, kids must put down the video game, take a break from the texting and spend a little quality time as a family -- even if only for the time that it takes to inhale a Manwich.
