PUMA introduces its first-ever Palermo campaign, starring Jack Grealish, beloved Manchester City midfield playmaker and style icon.
Embracing the effortless Italian style philosophy while merging past and present football DNA, the campaign features Grealish putting his own spin on the Palermo, an archetype of ‘80s terrace style, now back and better than ever for 2023.
Working with Truro Productions, director Caroline Hajny has cooked up a playful, pastel vision to celebrate and highlight the Palermo’s timeless features and vibrant new colour scheme. Bringing this all to life is director of photography Ailsa Aioka, and art director Emily Tomlinson.
Full post-production was completed at Nomad London, with editor Serena Rossi creating a kinetic pace for the cut, heightened by sound designer Andy Humphreys’ dynamic soundscape. Colourist Felipe Szulc gave the spot a vintage grade that draws the viewer in, and ultimately makes the Palermo’s, and Grealish himself, shine. Finishing and finessing completed by Nomad VFX.
