Mama Hungara chats about its new office in Mexico City, and how the market is responding to its presence

Mama Hungara, the production house based in Buenos Aires that has a strong collaborative approach and sees themselves as amplifiers of unique voices launches an office in Mexico City.

Q> When did you launch Mama Hungara in Mexico? And What has been the response so far?

We arrived in Mexico in early 2024 full of energy and seeking to introduce our company from a human angle. We had a clear aim from the start: nurture emerging Mexican and international talents, deliver high-quality work and forge genuine partnerships. The first half of the year was amazing, no matter how much we researched the market, we didn’t really know what to expect. Once there, we’re thrilled with the swift and positive response we received from the Mexican market.

In the first half of the year, we carried out 14 projects with top-tier clients and agencies. 

We are entering the second half of the year now and the pace is consistent. The trust these brands place in us is a testament to the value they see in our operational approach, our dedication to production excellence, and our human touch. We've recently collaborated with major names like MercadoPago, MercadoLibre, AB InBev, Exeed, Danone, and HBO MAX, working alongside respected agencies such as Wieden+Kennedy, Gut México, Anita & Vega, D-Studio and Super, among others.

Renowned as one of the leading directors of his generation, Mexican filmmaker Fernando Cattori, directing for BONAFONT.



Q> How would you describe the current landscape of the advertising industry in Mexico?

No doubt it’s a competitive environment, and as such it demands agility, strong creative capabilities, and the development of talent with a global perspective. Mexico challenges us, pushes us to exceed our own limits, and consistently raises the bar for excellence. Today’s market demands quick responses without compromising on quality. Growing competition highlights the importance of building collaborative teams that are creative, innovative, and effective at problem-solving

Q> How is Mama Hungara strengthening its talent network and identity as a leading audio visual production company?

We are working hard to develop a strong talent network to keep expanding and offering fresh perspectives and narratives to brands. In this prestigious market we face the challenge of solidifying and elevating our identity as a leading audio visual production company. Our aim is to strengthen our vision and take it to an even higher level. We count on a solid team that wants to grow with us. Q> How does Mama Hungara maintain high quality and foster innovation while supporting emerging Mexican talent?

There is not much science behind it, just hard work and consistency. In a short time we've really made our mark in Mexico's creative industry. Our main goal is to build a strong company culture and shared vision that keeps everyone at Mama Hungara growing together. We put a big emphasis on relationships, bringing together talented teams and investing in tech to boost creativity and productivity. We’re all about working together to deliver great results on every project, while also tapping into local markets and different sectors, looking at both cultural and technical angles. These are the core things that drive us as we keep pushing for innovation and excellent quality.
