Making a Monster: Behind the Scenes of J. A. Bayona's 'A Monster Calls'

More than two years ago, Glassworks Barcelona teamed up to direct and craft the two animated stories embedded in 'A Monster Calls', J. A. Bayona’s new movie, based on the novel by Patrick Ness. Below, you can see an example of the stellar VFX Glassworks provided for the film, which starred Liam Neeson, Sigourney Weaver and Felicity Jones.

Released in 2016, the film tells the story of Conor, a child whose mother is terminally ill; one night, he is visited by a giant tree-like monster, who states that he will come back each night and tell him three stories.
