Maker Lab, APAC’s fastest-growing in-housing agency, has named John Marsden as business development director for the region.
The agency, which builds micro-agencies inside clients’ teams, powering brands such as Google, Netflix, Amazon and UNICEF, has brought in Marsden to grow its client base in APAC.
He joins from VaynerMedia where he built award-winning teams across APAC and India, developing content engines for YouTube and GOPIZZA. He has also previously delivered business impact for brands throughout APAC and EMEA, including Singapore Airlines, TWG, Unilever, Bose, Pernod Ricard, Mars, and Porsche.
Matt Shoult, founder of Maker Lab added, John brings a wealth of experience in understanding what the C-Suite needs to deliver, building teams against this with excellent results. His expertise lends itself well to Maker Lab’s model of building more efficient and effective teams within client ecosystems - a strong solution to what many consider to be a broken traditional agency model.
