Havas Geneva and makemepulse have created an interactive installation for Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL). The first interactive 3D model of its kind, it will allow students and visitors of the school to experience their new campus of the future for the duration of a huge construction project that will take three years.
The design installation is located in the school’s main hall and invites the students to discover the intricate details of the facilities on their new campus whilst it’s being built. They can see 3D animations of the brilliant new light and airy spaces: how the gym will look when entertaining a full audience during a game, the interior of the restaurant, discover the library and the Atrium with all its natural sunlight.
The installation measures 5 square metres with each element created by 3D printing. Using an ipad, it combines a digital experience using a video mapping interface to allow users to interact with each new part of the campus.
Gabriel Mauron, creative director of Havas Geneva said: "This is one of those projects that makes you think out of the box during the whole process. A beautiful match between creation and technology that leads to a great immersive and useful digital experience, showcasing the vision of the school."
